On Day 2, enjoy a guided tour of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, followed by free time before returning to Cusco in the afternoon.

Your journey begins with pick-up from your accommodation in Cusco, followed by a scenic bus ride of approximately 2 hours to Ollantaytambo, passing through the beautiful Sacred Valley landscapes.
From there, board your train to Aguas Calientes, a journey of about 1 hour and 40 minutes along the Urubamba River, surrounded by lush mountains and dramatic scenery.
Upon arrival, our staff will meet you at the station and escort you to your accommodation, where you will receive a briefing for the next day.
The rest of the afternoon and evening are free for you to explore Aguas Calientes. You can visit the artisan market, relax in the hot springs, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this small and charming town.

After an early breakfast, walk to the bus station and take a 25-minute ride up to Machu Picchu.
Enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2.5 hours through the sanctuary, exploring its most important temples, terraces, and viewpoints while learning about its fascinating history.
After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes at your own pace, either by bus or on foot.
You will have free time for lunch, shopping, or relaxing before boarding your train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, a bus transfer will take you back to Cusco, arriving in the evening.
